Navi - Inventory - Item Master - Tools - Categories Refresh Resource Breakdown Structure Element Names When you change a resource breakdown structure’s element name in the source system, you need to run the PRC: Refresh RBS Element Names program to update the corresponding name in the resource breakdown structure in Oracle Projects. For example, if you change the name of an Organization (that is defined in Oracle HRMS) in a resource breakdown structure from ABC to XYZ then, you run the PRC: Refresh RBS Element Names program to update the name to XYZ in the resource breakdown structure in Oracle Projects.
Project Performance Reporting Data Re-build – Instructions and Validation
CAUTION These steps need to be done when no users are connected to the instance. Therefore soon after the patches are applied, please ensure to run the steps below in the exact sequence, verifying that no users are logged in at the time of re-build. Only after these steps are completed, the instance should be released to users. BEFORE performing EVERY step mentioned below, please run the following SQL: SELECT s.sid, s.serial#, s.process, s.username, s.osuser, RTRIM(o.owner)||'.'||o.object_name "OBJECT", l.type, DECODE(l.lmode, 1,NULL, 2,'RS', 3,'RX', 4,'S', 5,'SRX', 6,'X') "MODE", DECODE(l.request, 1,NULL, 2,'RS', 3,'RX', 4,'S', 5,'SRX', 6,'X') "REQ" FROM v$session s , all_objects o , v$lock l WHERE l.sid = s.sid AND o.owner in ('PA','PJI') AND s.type <> 'BACKGROUND' AND l.id1 = o.object_id ORDER BY 1 If users are connected to the instance and are using any of PA or PJI objects, this SQL will return the session IDs. Before each step is executed, ensure to run this SQL, and kill the sessions returned by this Query and then perform the step. If no rows are returned then you can proceed with the steps. However note that you need to kill the session only BEFORE performing the step, and NOT while a process is running. If you kill sessions while a process is running, this will cause your own session to get killed and the process will error out.
